On the Soloman Islands map, it's good to keep an eye on the middle. In this case, half way through the battle I noticed a Destroyer and Cruiser slipping between the islands, putting our carriers at risk. I was already heavily damaged so I turned back to try and defend the CVs. The Svetlana was built as a light cruiser. She never got to serve with the Imperial Russian Navy, but she would be completed. The ship would be renamed Profintern during the Russian Civil War, and renamed again to Krasnyi Krym when she entered service with the Soviet Union. Interestingly in-game, both the "Svetlana" and "Krasnyi Krym" exists as separate vessels. The Svetlana is part of the researchable Russian tech tree, and is modeled based on the ships original specifications. The Krasnyi Krym in the game is a premium ship and is modeled based on her late Soviet career during World War II.
