In my last video, the Isokaze only achieved one kill and ended in a base capture. Here, my luck shifted and I was able to sink a Cruiser, 2 Aircraft Carriers and a Battleship (after I was dead... "It's just a flesh wound") The Isokaze class destroyers were part of the Eight-Eight Fleet program (Hachi-Hachi Kantai), a plan to modernize the Imperial Japanese Navy. The four ships of the class were finished in the later stages of World War I. Because of this there was very little to no combat activity for these warships (that I could find anyways). One of the vessels broke in two at sea, the Tokitsukaze, in 1918 but was raised and repaired. Bu 1936 all ships in the type were considered out dated and was retired, never becoming active during the Second Sino-Japanese War or World War II.
