The M3 Lee was designed to replace the obsolete M2 Medium. They were issued to British forces in North Africa and served at the Battle of El Alamein. Some vehicles were modified by the British and were designated "Grant" while the American version was "Lee", both named after American Civil War generals. The Lee in-game is considered to be a poor tank due to it's large profile, hull mounted main gun, and the large weak points on the copula. Best thing to do is stay with a group. Let heavies lead and provide support file where possible. Drive it like a Tank Destroyer.
