This was recorded during the World of Tanks 2016 Convoy Mode event. Another round of playing on the defending team. Our goal is to prevent the Mark I tank from reaching our base. This is done by attaching bombs to it and preventing the other team from making repairs. Other than being a fun game mode, this anniversary event is also used to honor some of the first tank crews. On the menu screen (see my previous video) it lists a few of these soldiers including... Harold Mortimore - Commanded one of the first tanks used in combat. Stuart Hasty - First tank commander to capture a populated area, near Fleury Village. George Macpherson - At 20 years of age, he was the youngest commander during the Battle of Somme. Jacob Glaister - A tank gunner who took over after his commander was wounded trying to save another solider. His actions resulted in both commander and wounded soldier being saved.
