Unit 8 is on his own now after the previous battle. Entering a valley you soon find a few enemy turrets and heavy tanks. You will also encounter a few electronic barriers. Locate their power source to take them down. Lastly, there is a digital "train" that passes through the area frequently. If you get caught within it's field it will drain your tanks shields rapidly. I recommend buying upgrades for your speed booster as near the end you'll have to traverse a long area that's in the direct path of the e-train.
