In this ranked battle, the team headed to point A. Shortly after the fighting was underway, I spotted a destroyer sneaking around an island. The ships around me focused fire but soon I was being shelled by several enemies and my deck was on fire. However I was able to stay in the fight and give what support fire I could. Towards the end, I wasn't sure which side of the island they'd exit from, but I intended to guard point A and prevent it from being captured while the rest of the team took point B. The Dunkerque class was designed after Germany launched the Deutschland Class cruisers, also known as the "Pocket Battleships". These ships could allow Germany to conduct commerce raiding with battleship-like armament and cruiser-like speed. The ships were built with speed in mind, making them categorized as "Fast Battleships". The design allowed the ships to reach speeds of up to 30 knots. As is the case of an arms race, Germany responded to the Dunkerque Class by designing and building the Scharnhorst Class of Battleships. After the occupation of France by Germany, the Dunkerque was eventually scuttled at Toulon, having never fought the Deutschland Class ships she was designed to fight, nor the Scharnhorst Class that was intended to be her counter measure.
