So the entire fleet goes to Point C initially, but I felt the need to defend our flank. Too often I've seen battles where a few sneaky destroyers swing around and take out our carriers and get in behind our team. Sure enough, two DDs came swimming out of the fog about the mid-point of the battle. Was able to spot them and destroy one of them, all while dodging their torpedoes in a big-ass battleship. The USS Arizona (BB-39) was a Pennsylvania Class super dreadnought. In early December of 1941 the Imperial Japanese Navy attacked Pearl Harbor. At the time many US warships, including several battleships, were stationed there. The Arizona was struck in her magazine and exploded. After the attack many ships were refloated and repaired or used for scrap. The Arizona was considered unsalvageable and some of the lesser damaged components were removed to be used on other ships repairs. The bulk of the ship, however, remains under water to this day in the harbor. In 1962 a memorial was built on top of the wreckage in honor of the sailors and marines lost during the attack. To this day, small oil slicks from the wrack surface occasionally, referred to by some as "Black Tears" or "Tears of the Arizona".
