As a GA, I try to take out anti-aircraft guns first (triangles) before worrying about non-attacking targets (squares). That's why my initial pass is to try and clear out the enemy AA guns. Also at the time of this recording, I had just got this aircraft and failed to load it up with any bombs or rockets. Opps. Near the end, as our team was short on fighters, and that flying pancake (XF5U) was in my area, I went on the offense. The Il-10 was developed along side the Il-8, both by Ilyushin Design Bureau and both based on the successful Il-2 attack aircraft. The Il-10 proved to be the superior between the two and was picked up for production. Later modifications, known as the Il-10M, featured four 23 mm NR-23 cannons mounted in the wing. This variant was also longer and had a wider wing span. In the early 1950s, several hundred Il-10 and Il-10Ms were exported to China. Some saw combat Taiwan in January 1955. By 1972 the last of these planes were retired by the PLAAF.
