Constructed by a division of General Motors, the XP-75 was intended to be a long range interceptor with a high rate of climb. It utilized a powerful liquid cooled engine located in the middle of the aircraft and a coaxial contra-rotating propeller system. (A system of two propellers arranged one-behind-the-other and rotate in opposite directions) By 1944, interest was lost with the project as the aircraft already in production had significant range for the needs of the military. The experimental aircraft was discontinued after only 8 prototypes and 6 production aircraft were manufactured. In game, this aircraft is huge, rather slow to respond, and doesn't turn well. So dog fighting is almost out of the question. It's a good idea, such as this video, to stay near a more maneuverable fighter aircraft during the battle with this aircraft.
