This was recorded during the World of Tanks 2016 Convoy Mode event. On the defending side of this game mode, our job is to prevent the Mark I tank from reaching our base. This is done by grabbing bombs, and attaching them to the tank, which disables or potentially destroys it. While the tank is disabled, we must prevent the enemy team from repairing the Mark I. The Battle of Somme, or the Somme Offensive, was one of the largest combat operations of the First World War. It lasted from July 1st 1916 and ended in November, and is known as one of the bloodiest battles in human history. The battle is known for both the importance of air power and the first official use of tanks during combat operations. The convoy mode map in the game was inspired by the Battle of Somme.
