World of Warplanes - German Messerschmitt Bf 110 B Heavy Fighter - Updated El Halluf Map - YouTube xenofoxx

With Update 1.8.3, the El Halluf map got an update. The center has more hilly terrain so low altitude fighting will be a little more interesting. Here I'm flying my Tier IV Bf 110 B heavy fighter. To my surprise (and the other team mates based on the chat box) a Tier II UK Bristol Bulldog takes out two of my team mates. Unfortunately for him, a twin engine plane can climb a lot faster than a 1920s bi-plane.

World Of Warplanes (Video Game)

I love this little plane. Light, fast and nimble. So light that during this battle I get shot down and it refuses to die. Every time it starts to nose dive, the air frame gets lifted by the wind resistance, keeping it aloft. The longest crash I've ever encountered.

Another German Heavy fighter, the Ao 192 Kurier built by AGO Flugzeugwerke. This is one of the earlier heavies you can unlock in the game. One note, I really don't like ram-killing enemy aircraft. You'll notice I try to veer off, I still collide with the oncoming aircraft. I'm still new to heavies and learning that they are a lot less maneuverable than fighters. The sparkle effects on the wing tips are due to the equipped New Years consumables.

The P-40 Warhawk was one of the most produced aircraft for the US and served through most of World War II. It would also serve for the UK and USSR as the P-40 Kittyhawk and P-40 Tomahawk. Got an Ace and Hat Trick metal, for downing 5 aircraft of 3 different types.

Yakovlev Yak-1 (Aircraft Model)

Originally called the I-26, the aircraft was a mix of light metal frame with mostly wood construction. It served the USSR during the early period of World War 2. In this battle, our team allowed our better armored ground attack aircraft go through while we lingered on the edge of enemy airspace. The idea is to let the GA clear anti-aircraft placements making it safe for the fighters.

About 1,500 K model mustangs were built in Dallas, Texas. They were very simpler to the P-51D which as equipped with the Rolls-Royce Merlin engines and bubble dome canopy. Many of these were exported to the Chinese Nationalist Air Force during the final stages of the Sino-Japanese War. Later, after the Chinese Civil War, many of these aircraft would flee to Taiwan while around 40 would remain captured by the People's Republic of China. In the game, the aircraft was only available for a short period of time as a limited offer making it rare in the game. Currently China is only represented in the game with premium aircraft. It is unknown if they will implement a full tech tree similar to World of Tanks.

World Of Warplanes (Video Game)

Built in the 1930s by Curtiss Aeroplane and Motor Company, it was known by several names. Such names include Model 64A, F11C-1 Goshawk and BFC-2 Hawk. Only one American squadron was known to use them. About 28 served the US Navy aircraft carrier USS Saratoga. Others of this aircraft type were exported to other nations including: China, Germany, Chile, Columbia, Turkey and Thailand among others. In game, I really enjoy the old bi-plane battles. They are mostly relegated to low tiers, as nations switched to a monoplane design. It's still fun to dog fight in these odd little aircraft of the early 20th century.
