Nicknamed 'Grand Old Lady', the ship was a Queen Queen Elizabeth Class battleship that served the Royal Navy in both World Wars. She participated in the Battle of Jutland during the first World War where her steering mechanism became damaged and she spun in circles, exposing her to enemy fire. However this action drew the enemies fire and allowed the badly damaged HMS Warrior an opportunity to escape. Afterwards she would receive several refits and updates in her career, participate in multiple engagements during the Second World War and serve in almost every ocean in the world. Currently the Warspite is the only UK warship in the game. She has rather slow moving turrets which makes firing on the move or while turning a little challenging. She does have a scout plane which can be used to increase her firing range.
