So the 1.9 update just came out. To make the game more balanced they are now mixing human players with bots. I was worried this would make the game less appealing. This video is my first battle. To my surprise, it was fun. It's the first time I've played a 15v15 match in a long time. After playing several other matches, I was pleased to find that the bots were not as OP as they were on the test server, nor were they dumb shooting gallery fixtures. And really, it isn't that different than the World of Warships Bot Battles. During this battle I noticed that some aircraft I did crit damage to. You can barely see it but there is one aircraft that I ripped the wing off with my guns and sent it spiraling out of control. That's just one of the new physics changes that has been incorporated into the game. That's the part that excites me the most. For my first match I flew my Chinese captured Nakajima Ki-43 "Oscar" plane. I still wish they'd finish the chinese tech tree. Maybe with this update out of the way that will happen.
