The development of the Char B1 took nearly a decade to go from prototype to production. Mass produced in the 1930s and used to defend France. While slower than the German Panzers that it encountered, it was better armored. Because of this it yielded some victories but not enough to turn the tide of the German invasion. Several B1 vehicles would be captured and used by the Germans for training and on secondary fronts. In the video above, this is a lesson in flanking. Facing a Jagdpanzer 38 "Hetzer", after a few shots I realized I wasn't going to penetrate his frontal armor. So, I wheeled around the corner to attack the weaker side armor.
